We’ve seen, and been in, a lot of weddings. We have stories to tell. Judgey stories mostly, but those are the most fun, aren’t they? So sit back and listen while we talk about whale songs, Vegas, literal bats in literal belfries, how to prank your loved ones on the most important day of your life, and ... Aunt Betty (cue creepy music). Oh my, Aunt Betty. And now you’ll know why we call Betty’s kid “Donkey”.
The Old-Fashioned
Revisiting Episode 1 We decided to bring back The Old Fashioned because it is a complete favorite of ours. This time though instead of Angel’s Envy we used Blanton’s (our other favorite!). It’s important to remember when being judgey about other people’s life choices, whether you approve or disapprove, you should have appropriate sustenance and this will shore you up like a real woman.
Ingredients-
2 oz Blanton’s Bourbon
1 oz Simple Syrup
Dash Orange Bitters
Instructions-
Put ingredients in cocktail shaker with some ice. Shake well. Pour over an ice sphere or large cube of ice. Garnish with a long beautiful strip of citrus peel.
