Episode 69 - 2020 Is Literally the Skid
So, holidays in the time of pandemic can be rough. But you’re not alone, and you can still have fun. Especially with wicked hiccups, random Edsels, and a weird sense of humor.
You all know my love/hate relationship with gin. The plot thickens though! Pomp & Whimsey has a Gin Liqueur. What does that even mean? It’s got that floral ginny flavor, but it’s way sweeter. Generally though, it can be used to yummy ends. Gina, of course, is totally in love. We’ve each tried a couple cocktails with it over all, not necessarily on the show, but just in general. Their website has a bunch of great recipes so if you’re into it, I urge you to check it out.
Mod-fashioned
Ingredients
1 1/2 oz gin
1/2 oz Pomp & Whimsey Gin Liqueur
1/2 oz simple syrup
dash Cardamom Bitters
Instructions
Build over ice in a double old-fashioned glass. Garnish with a twist of grapefruit or a dried orange wheel or whatever you like.
