Episode 73 - Holiday Blah Blah Blah
Christmas during a pandemic might not seem like anything that would involve random celebrity encounters, interpreting Texas accents, and literary compliments but leave it to us and we’ll find a way to get around to it. While I’m sipping a Kir Royale because I’m basically feeling incredibly lazy and didn’t want to do anything complex, Gina imbibes in her very own apple-cider and bourbon creation she named a “Holiday Home” (#overachiever).
And while we both partake liberally, we definitely get a chance to enjoy ourselves with this one and hope you do too.
We tried to think of a couple drinks that were super holiday-ish. Since we’d both done something a little different last week, we were hard pressed to really dig into it. Plus it’s Christmas and we both had crap tons of stuff to do. Apparently Gina didn’t have quite as much as I did because she was far more adventurous or at least less lazy. Anyhow, please enjoy!
Kir Royale-
Ingredients
1/2 oz Chambord
Chilled Sparkling wine
Lemon or orange twist to garnish
Instructions
Pour that shit in a Champagne flute and drink up YUM!
Holiday Home-
Ingredients
2 oz Boondocks Spice Project
2 oz Apple Cider
1/2 oz spiced simple syrup
1/2 oz lemon juice
Ginger Ale
Instructions
Combine everything but the ginger ale in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake it until well chilled. Pour into tall glass and top with ginger ale. Drink it. Yay you!
