Episode 74 - Happy Freaking New Year!
The one where we shove 2020 out the damn door.
#2020amirite? Yeah, it’s on the way out, m’dolls! HALLELUJAH!!!!! We have special guests Rexy and Nina here to help us ring out the old year and talk about our goals for the new. Because seriously, we need that now!
Tonight we wanted to do something celebratory, which in my mind equates to champagne. So Gina requested some Apple bull because we all know she can’t resist. I feel like we JUST did Apple? Whatever. I can use it as an excuse to avoid it for a bit. IMHO it’s a bit odd in cocktails but this actually turned out quite well and I liked it. Don’t tell her. She doesn’t read the website anyhow so unless one of you blabs I can say whatever I want here. At least it wasn’t some gross GIN and APPLE thing. *shudder*
Apple Cider Mimosa
Ingredients
2 oz Apple cider
2 oz Boondocks Spice Project bourbon whiskey
1 oz spiced simple syrup
Champagne or sparkling wine to top
Instructions
Mix it all in a shaker, pour into a champagne flute. Top with champagne and enjoy!
