Episode 14 - Would You Rather: Trade-In Moms and Chicken Rage
We muse about what we would do in a fun little ice breaker game of "Would you rather," and learn that cussing is vitally important and chickens are the insects of the bird family. We also wonder why won't Sears won't exchange moms that don't work right. All while sipping this summer's hot yet cooling cocktail, the Aperol Spritz.
The Aperol Spritz
According to a bunch of stuff I read on the interwebs, including Liquor.com, the Aperol Spritz is basically THE cocktail of the summer, and it’s making a comeback and a bunch of other stuff like that. So because we are so very chic and cutting edge, we decided we would try it. I was a little surprised to find out that it’s low in alcohol. Maybe because it’s a wine based cocktail? Even the Aperol itself only has about half the alcohol than it’s cousin, Campari. Regardless, we took one for the team and tried it anyhow. It’s beautiful to look at! Very shiny and orange.
Ingredients-
3 oz prosecco
2 oz Aperol
1 oz soda water
Instructions-
Add all ingredients into a wine glass with ice and stir. Garnish with an orange slice. (In fairness, I didn’t have a wine glass that I could find. Be kind, remember I just moved and I’m still not all unpacked.)
